Our Santa Ana community needs college graduates with well-paying careers to support their families. Many know me as “Dr. Noji.” I am an experienced and knowledgeable community college educator, a long-time resident of Santa Ana, and for many years served the community as a successful school board member for the Santa Ana Unified School District. I have a doctorate degree in education from Claremont University. The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce recognized me as the 2024 Educator of the Year, and the Board of Governors for the California Community Colleges awarded me the Diversity Award for implementing programs to meet the needs of all students.
Improving access to classes and counselors will enable our students to graduate in a timely manner. I will use my knowledge to establish educational programs and services to provide our students with the resources and support they need to successfully reach their goals -- graduate, get a job, and transfer to a university. I will use my experience to advocate for fair funding to enhance educational opportunities for all students including making college more affordable.
My knowledge of higher education along with my professional experience as a college administrator, counselor, and professor will enable me to successfully lead the Board of Trustees.
